Wat is een SMTP Server?

Een SMTP server is verantwoordelijk voor het versturen van e-mail. De letters SMTP staan voor Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. Uw internet provider stelt zijn SMTP server ter beschikking om e-mail mee te kunnen versturen. De verbinding moet op poort 25 gebeuren, dat ook standaard in de meeste mailcliënts zo is ingesteld.

Hieronder vindt u een lijst met de SMTP servers van diverse Nederlandse internetproviders. Staat uw Internetprovider niet in de lijst, kijk dan op de website van uw provider en zoek op SMTP.
